Righty swinging catcher Damian Miller was part of the glory years for the Arizona Diamondbacks! He played in 467 games in his five years with the D-Backs and he was 394 of 1,465 (.269 avg, .773 OPS) with 180 runs scored, 48 homers, 194 RBI and 3 stolen bases. He also played in 17 games in the post-season for the D-Backs and he was 12 of 55 (.218 avg) with 4 runs scored, 0 homers and 2 RBI. Miller played in 6 games of the 2001 World Series (in which the D-Backs won in 7 games!) and he was 4 for 21 (.190 avg, .547 OPS) with 3 runs scored, 2 doubles and 2 RBI. But he also whiffed 11 times against only 1 walk in the 2001 World Series. Miller was an All-Star in 2002, but it wasn’t near his best season for the D-Backs.
